It is a french footstool, louis XV style.
Like all french furniture of this style, the legs are curved and the shapes delicately rounded.
The seat is in beech and the traditional upholstery, with springs and horsehair, guarantees comfort. I sanded it for a long time, painted it black and matt varnished it.
Then upholstered with this thick black velvet, 100% cotton and finally finished with a black and white braid from houlès.
