It is made of solid turned wood, and it has retained its pretty original patina.

It has been entirely waxed with natural beeswax, to protect it, and for maintenance, simply rub it from time to time with a clean cloth.

Quality french craftsmanship from the 60s.

The seat height is much lower than a standard chair seat height.

The stool can be used around a coffee table, in a child’s bedroom, or near a window as a plant holder, for example.

It will also make a very pretty base to display a sculpture.
